The collective mobility division of our company launched its new project by starting to operate three lines: 88, 89 and PR4, all of them included under a concession from the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona (AMB).

From this summer onwards, Moventis will manage the service on Lines 88 and 89, which connect the city of Barcelona via the Paral·lel metro station to the Port and ZAL.

Line 88 stops at the Muelle de Álvarez de la Campa and goes as far as the ZAL|Riu Vell metro station. City bus Line 89, on the other hand, goes to the ZAL Prat (PIF) and La Best, taking an express route around the port.

Finally, Line PR4 has been adapted to match the metro timetable upon its arrival at Calle “A” in the Free Economic Zone, located at the new ZAL|Riu Vell station. Due to high demand, buses will run every 30 minutes on this line. Including this service in the portfolio of services already provided by Moventis is a huge achievement for the company. Due to the numerous activities undertaken by a multitude of companies within the Port of Barcelona Area and the Logistics Activity Zone, demand for this public transport service has been growing in recent years. Furthermore, Moventis is pleased to be able to provide this service to a large number of passengers, thereby making it easier for them to travel while guaranteeing an efficient and comfortable service for all.
