Once again, Moventia will be sponsoring the Itinera Parlem Festival that seeks to raise the profile of microtowns or rural towns and their charm by bringing small-format high-quality music events to the people.
The festival, the fourth edition of which will take place from 1 June to 31 October, is launching a new project in 2024 that aims to raise awareness about musicians from towns with fewer than 500 inhabitants so that their presence can have a significant impact on society by being featured at the festival and other events throughout the country.
Set up in 2021 by the Association of Microtowns of Catalonia and Aktive, the initiative will host a total of 250 free concerts of black music (jazz, blues, soul and gospel), world music, roots music and, new this year, classical music.
Moventia is partnering with the Itinera Parlem Festival under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy for several key reasons, such as its contribution to wellbeing in the local community, the promotion of culture and education, and the encouragement of dialogue and citizen participation among other factors that reflect its reputation as a company that is committed to social and cultural values.
